Kristi Lee , whose real name is Theresa Ritz (born July 17, 1960), is the news director of the national syndicated radio show The Bob & amp; Tom Show and is responsible for delivering news from various headlines (often used for funny takeoffs) during the show.
Lee often hosts or participates in Bob and Tom Radio: The Comedy Tour shows. She is the mother of two daughters, Ava and Sophie, and she has been married and divorced three times.
Lee graduated from Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis and started his career at WBDG, the school station. He attended Indiana University.
Lee's full-time job in communication is at WRTV, where he was a television engineer for six years. At that time, he also became a part time disk jockey for WFBQ Q95, a station that eventually hired Bob Kevoian and Tom Griswold for the morning. He started his radio career at The Bob and Tom Show in 1988. Lee also appeared on ESPN and ESPN2 as a side reporter, which included events such as lacrosse, car racing, and the first three Xs. Games on ESPN2. In the mid-nineties, he was a side reporter for the Indiana Pacers in the NBA.
On January 11, 2016, Lee announced that he would go The Bob and Tom Show. Before his return, Lee's last on air appearance was on December 17, 2015. In April 2016's appearance on Hammer and Nigel's podcast, Lee revealed that his contract Bob and Tom i> "rolled over for 12 years" and included a three-month non-compete clause, long enough to be considered "unheard of in our business." Since each new contract is likely to extend its noncompetition requirement to six or 12 months, Lee says he chose not to renew his contract. It was "a time to try something different," Lee said. On July 8, 2016, The Bob and Tom Show announced online that Lee will return to the show on July 11, 2016. In an interview with BoomerTV Patty Spitler, Lee reiterated that desire to find his own voice as an interviewer and to create his own "brand" is his ultimate motivation for what ended up being the hiatus of The Bob and Tom Show. Lee also said Griswold started a discussion that caused him to return.
During his six-month break from Bob and Tom Lee started hosting a podcast called "Kristi Lee Uninterrupted," which debuted on April 5, 2016. Podcasts are affiliated with Dr. Will's environment. The title is a reference to Griswold's habit of constantly interrupting the news report of his Bob and Tom Show . Lee announced that he would continue producing his podcasts.
In February 2017, it was announced that Kristi Lee was inaugurated as a hall of fame in her high school. He will have a plaque with his name and picture attached to the Ben Davis High School Wall of Fame. She has always maintained that she owes a successful career to starting on a school radio station, WBDG, where her long life love of the communications and entertainment industry begins.
