Plot
This tragedy is set in Sardinia Constantino Ledda convicted on charges for killing his evil uncle. Constantino is innocent, but he receives a verdict because his wife Giovanna. After Constantino was convicted, Giovanna had no economic means to support her family, so she divorced her husband and remarried a wealthy but cruel landowner. Constantino was released after the actual killer confessed, and he and Giovanna embarked on a forbidden romance.
