John Haines Ware III (August 29, 1908 - July 31, 1997) is a Republican member of the US House of Representatives of Pennsylvania.

John H. Ware was born in Vineland, New Jersey. He graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1930. He was a public utility executive with American Water, and a bankrupt in the small area of ​​Oxford from 1956 to 1960. He was a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, 1961-1970, and chair of the committee finance of the Republic of Pennsylvania. He is the guardian of Lincoln University and the University of Pennsylvania. The middle campus house in Penn's Quadrangle is named in his honor. In addition, there are also Scout Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts named in his honor. Part of the Horseshoe Scout Reservation, John H. Ware III Camp runs many guided programs such as summer camps, NYLTs, and camps.

He was elected simultaneously as the Republic of 91 and to the 92nd Congress by a special election to fill the vacancy caused by the death of George Watkins, and was re-elected to the 93rd Congress, (3 November 1970 - 3 January 1975); He was not a candidate for re-election in 1974. He died in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in July 1997.

On May 31, 2002, the US Route 1 highway in Chester County between the Maryland border and Kennett Square was designated the John H. Ware III Memorial Road to honor Ware, which encouraged the construction of a US Expressway in Chester County.
