Jay Goldberg is an American lawyer and author who lives in New York City. A magna cum laude graduated from Harvard Law School, he is a US constitutional law scholar and criminal law. He is best known for his representation of clients and high profile cases, including President Donald Trump throughout his divorce and several real estate deals. After Goldberg began his career in New York working for the legendary District Attorney Frank S Hogan and was appointed acting as US Attorney for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana - Indiana North District, with the appointment of General Prosecutor Robert F. Kennedy.

Goldberg was born January 2, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. As a youth, he was very interested in sports including baseball, soccer and basketball, but his passion for competitive boxing soon outperformed interest in other sports. He spent a lot of time at the legendary boxing gym owned by Lou Stillman where he started a long-term relationship with Rocky Graziano, a relationship he maintained until his death in 1990.
He studied at Brooklyn College, graduated magna cum laude and was elected from his first year at Phi Beta Kappa. After college, he considered a legal career citing the influence of many of his visits to the federal and state courts of Manhattan and Brooklyn. He graduated from Harvard Law School magna cum laude. During law school he meets Regina "Rema" Goldberg at Hotel Concord mixer "single weekend." Rema and she married at Tavern on the Green in Central Park. He serves as a jury consultant for lawyers.
