Vikki Ziegler is an American lawyer and author. His book The Pre-marital Planner: The Complete Law Guide for Perfect Marriage is published in 2012, and from 2014 to 2016 it is the focus of the reality television show Untying the Knot. He practiced martrimonial law, and was a founding partner in the Ziegler and Zemsky LLC companies. As a businessman, he has established several websites related to divorce.

Vikki Ziegler was born in Manhattan and grew up in Wayne, New Jersey by South African parents. Ziegler's parents divorced in 1985 when he was twelve, and reportedly, he debated (and convinced) his parents to seek joint custody during the trial. The experience gave him the motivation to become his own divorce lawyer when he became an adult. He attended Gloria Frances Performing Arts School and graduated from Wayne Hills High School in 1990. He worked as a fashion model during college, and graduated from the University of Rhode Island, where he studied Spanish, Sociology and Political Science as well as the Faculty Law of the University of Quinnipiac, after first attending Bridgeport Law. Following law school, he signed up for Judge Michael A. Diamond from the High Court Family Division in Passaic County.

As a lawyer, Ziegler works for Walder, Hayden & amp; Brogan during the mid-2000s, where among other cases he was a lawyer for the Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Michael Strahan. Ziegler is now a founding partner and lawyer with Ziegler and Zemsky companies, a law firm specializing in marriage law. He is also a professor at Fordham Law School, where he teaches prenuptial agreements and same-sex marriages. Ziegler was banned in New York, New Jersey, and Washington D.C. He was also appointed to the Supreme Court of New Jersey to the District XI Ethics Committee for the Passaic Territory.
Television
Early in his career he appeared as a commentator on E!, MSNBC, CNN, Fox Business Network, and Fox News during the celebrity divorce case discussion. She also appeared on daytime television shows like Dr. Drew and The Wendy Williams Show , and the movie 30 for 30 "Broke" on ESPN. In 2014 he began to host the reality television show Bravo Untying the Knot . Six and a half hour episode track Ziegler handles divorce cases, and includes consultation with Mark and Michael Millea assessment experts when items require auctions. The series was updated in November 2014, and expanded to full-time format for the second season.

In 2008, he started working on a divorce guide entitled The All Star Divorce . He then published The Pre-marital Planner: The Complete Law Guide for Perfect Marriage in 2012, which includes a discussion of how to approach a prenuptial agreement as a married couple. The All Star Divorce is scheduled to be her second non-fiction book.
Other businesses
Ziegler is the founder of DivorceDating.com, the game maker's website for divorce, and the celebrity gossip site HookupsAndBreakups.com. Both were developed as part of an effort to live a "divorce stigma". She is also the creator of hair perfume "Lavish by Vikki Ziegler".
Recognition
Ziegler was named one of 40 lawyers under 40 by the New Jersey Law Journal in 2006. In 2016 he received the Extraordinary Podcast award at the 41st Annual Gracie Awards.
